“It’s how I keep my kids happy inside the car,” said Kaehler, who is originally from The Pas and has fond reminiscences of preventing at the outsized statues while her circle of relatives might power to the town.

“People are usually satisfied with something amusing to do, and I assume human beings like road trips — particularly ones which can be inside an hour or so outside the metropolis.”

While she hasn’t been to every attraction at the listing, Kaephler says she and her daughters, six-year-old Charlie and 3-12 months-vintage Judy, had been to pretty some.

She said the sometimes atypical and always interesting systems may be welcome on long family avenue trips.

“It has to have been Dad and Mom who got here up with the concept of this kind of point of interest,” she laughed.

“If your kids are whatever like mine, you need a breather and a chance to stretch your legs.

“We want these statues so youngsters can get out and look and mother and father don’t pass insane.”
