LAWRENCE, Kan. – A lady who became kicked out of her home at age 16 due to the fact she changed into a lesbian has a fresh shot at university after enthusiasts raised sufficiently to repay her scholar loans.
The Netflix display Queer Eye” tells the tale of 23-yr-vintage Jess Guilbeaux trying to placed herself thru university on the University of Kansas before losing out due to debt.

“The best part of my activity is the humans,” says Sam, who has Down Syndrome. “They provide me strength, make me full of lifestyles.”
Sam’s hard paintings at PDQ is just a part of the reason he’s starring in a brand new documentary called “Because of Sam” by using nearby filmmaker Renee Warmack.
Sam was bullied as a kid. He is now a tireless endorse for people with disabilities with speaking me engagements on behalf of the Special Olympics, the Best Buddies program and GiGi’s Playhouse.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office venerated Sam as a community hero.
“I do it for me, and I do it for human beings who have disabilities available who can reap their goals and dreams,” says Sam.
“Sam has survived and thrived,” says filmmaker Warmack, who first heard approximately her star while he changed into topped Homecoming King at Gaither High School. “All people are going to be stimulated by this movie.”
Warmack is seeking greater funding so she can put the completing touches on “Because of Sam” and have a proper ideal in Tampa this summer.
